These terms are an agreement between you and Codestudio Solutions SRL, a company registered in Romania, about your use of the Diet Log app and this website. By creating an account you accept them.
Diet Log is not medical advice
Diet Log is a tracking and motivation tool, not a healthcare service. Nothing in the app is medical, nutritional or psychological advice, and using it does not create a practitioner relationship of any kind. The numbers it shows you — maintenance calories, deficit targets, protein targets, estimated body fat, projected timelines — are estimates produced by standard formulas from the details you enter. They are not a diagnosis and not a prescription.
Talk to a doctor or a registered dietitian before starting any calorie deficit, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18, managing a medical condition, taking medication, or have any history of disordered eating. If you are struggling with an eating disorder, please seek qualified help — Diet Log is not a treatment and is not designed for that purpose.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old to use Diet Log. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login details private, and for everything that happens under your account.
Subscriptions, trial and billing
- Diet Log is a paid subscription. Current plans are $99.99 per year or $14.99 per month. Prices shown in the app are the ones that apply, in your local currency, and may differ from these by region and over time.
- New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it converts into a paid subscription automatically.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Payment is taken by Apple or Google, not by us.
- Cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies, because they are the seller of record. We cannot issue refunds on their behalf, but tell us if something went wrong and we will help where we can.
If your subscription lapses, your account and history stay intact. You can still see your plan and recalculate it, but logging new days requires an active subscription.
Acceptable use
Use Diet Log for your own personal tracking. Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service, and do not use it in any way that breaks the law.
Your content and your data
Your logs and profile remain yours. We only use them to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can have your account and its data deleted at any time by contacting us.
Availability and changes
We are a small team and the app is under active development. Features may change, and we may add, alter or remove them. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. If we make a significant change to these terms we will let you know in the app before it takes effect.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any outcome — health-related or otherwise — arising from decisions you make based on the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you keep the protections and the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.
